Despite these incredible times many of us will not have had to depend on others but, should we have to, we all know an army of helpers are at hand - the NHS

Until the outbreak of Covid-19 there is no doubt the NHS was largely taken for granted but the recent stories of untold dedication (and in some cases sacrifice) is humbling to say the least.

Doctors and nurses, porters and auxillaries, carehome workers and a variety of support staff have really shown all of us the true meaning of humanity.

We, like many others, truly admire their unfailing dedication and appreciate that there can be no better institution in the world than the NHS.

To those thousands of health care professionals only history will show how we,the millions, owe a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
