Michael started in estate agency in 1976 with Brian Morton & Company - at a time when the sale of a house in Malone Park for £100,000 made real headlines!
Then, there was a defined training program where knowledge and experience in all estate agency disciplines was expected - from ground rent management to residential sales and commercial management to residential lettings.
This created a knowledge and appreciation of the variations within each area of expertise and helped find which of those each person was best suited to.
As a director for a Plc chain in the past and then a partner in The Eric Cairns Partnership, Michael has experience of a locally owned and run practice and in the mechanics of a large corporate chain.
His knowledge in the market has largely been focused in Greater Belfast and North Down where
RODGERS & BROWNE are now based. This speciality has mainly been in residential sales, rentals and new development projects.
